Fall Fishing on the Salmon River
Fishing is great on the river this fall. Weather is perfect for catching steelhead. Salmon River is still running nice and high because of last winter’s great snow pack.

Pine Creek Rapids is down river from North Fork, just below Shoup and always an exciting rapid on the Main Salmon stretch. Here is a video of some friends of ours going through the rapids.
Salmon River Fishing Conditions
Nippy fall weather has come to the Salmon area, with snow up on the peaks and chilly mornings. We are still enjoying our typical, beautiful fall days.
